Terms of Service

Clipper Lab ("Service") is an AI-powered video clipping platform that helps users extract short-form clips from YouTube videos. The Service includes video downloading, transcription, AI-based clip selection, and clip creation with optional subtitles and auto-framing.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to process content you do not have the right to use, create misleading or harmful content, attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform, or violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

Each subscription plan includes usage limits for projects, clips, and storage. These limits are enforced on a monthly billing cycle. Exceeding your plan limits may result in temporary restrictions until the next billing period or until you upgrade your plan.

You retain ownership of all content you process through the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any videos you submit for processing. Clipper Lab does not claim ownership of your input videos or output clips.

The Service itself — including its design, code, AI models, and branding — remains the intellectual property of Clipper Lab.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze video content and select clips. AI-generated results may not always be accurate or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing all output before publishing. Clipper Lab makes no guarantees about the virality, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-selected clips.

Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider (LemonSqueezy). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You may change or cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipper Lab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
